This is a technical pilot watch with a compact footprint rather than a polished sports chronograph.

The supplied configuration uses a custom Asian Calibre 69380 clone with running seconds at 6 o'clock. That placement is central to the identity of IW389101: it gives the lower half of the dial a clear anchor and keeps the chronograph registers visually coherent. The day-date display at 3 o'clock adds a second point of information, so the watch feels more purposeful than a three-hand Top Gun while retaining the same pilot-led discipline.

A convex sapphire crystal with double AR coating sits over the dial. Its curved profile follows the case language, and the anti-reflective treatment helps the numerals, hands and sub-dials remain easy to read as the light changes. The fixed ceramic bezel continues the same low-reflection surface treatment and keeps the eye on the display.
