A calendar watch with a darker center of gravity
IW344205 uses color to change the way a perpetual-calendar layout reads. The blue dial gives the three registers more depth than a pale background would, while the rose-gold-tone case picks up warmth at the edge of the watch instead of placing it across the entire face. Date, month, moon phase, week and leap year remain part of the display, but they sit inside a combination that feels designed for a darker jacket, evening dinner or a wardrobe already built around navy and brown.
The dark blue leather strap matters just as much as the dial. It closes the color story without turning the watch into a matching-set novelty, and it keeps the 42mm case firmly on the dress-watch side of the line. The source record names a customized Cal.82650 movement, a 13mm thickness and sapphire crystal. Those details belong in the configuration, but the immediate buying decision comes from the view at arm's length: a blue field, warm case border, compact calendar registers and a strap that supports rather than interrupts them.
