Case texture before strap color
Irregular dark lines run across the RM 35-02's case, with a vented black strap continuing the subdued tone. The red crown is a small, deliberate interruption. Up close, the skeleton display adds another layer of detail; from a distance, the watch remains a compact dark tonneau.
ZF distinguishes the modified automatic base from the decorative skeleton bridgework above it. That separation matters here: the layered look is the visual appeal, while automatic winding serves daily use. The open face has depth without relying on a bright band to make it visible.
