The Natural Iron Tiger Eye defines this GMT-Master II

Tiger-eye grain and a black-brown bezel make this a warm GMT from dial to bracelet. The meteorite-style 126719BLRO also uses a patterned centre, but its blue-red bezel and white-metal Oyster shift the whole watch cooler. The choice is between two very different colour temperatures, not between two GMT functions.

GMT-Master II 126715CHNR-0002 builds its Root Beer palette around a tiger-eye dial rather than a flat dark face. The black-brown bezel gives the 24-hour scale a clear frame, while the rose-gold-tone Oyster bracelet extends the dial’s warmth across the wrist. Natural-looking grain makes the centre the feature that changes most from one viewing angle to another. This is the GMT for a buyer who wants the travel function in a distinctly warm, patterned watch rather than in the cooler blue-red BLRO format.

Root Beer with a moving centre

GMT-Master II 126715CHNR-0002 takes the familiar black-brown Root Beer palette and gives it a tiger-eye dial. The grain is the point of this version. Bands of brown and gold change with the angle of light, so the centre has its own character inside the two-colour bezel. From a distance the watch reads as a warm GMT; closer in, the dial becomes the detail that sets it apart from a plain dark-faced CHNR.

A continuous warm wrist line

The rose-gold-tone case continues into the Oyster bracelet, giving the watch one colour direction from bezel to clasp. Straight three-link styling keeps that warm finish within a sporting shape; it does not turn the GMT into a dress bracelet watch. The brown and black bezel remains a clear outer boundary around the tiger-eye face, so the patterned centre has room to register without swallowing the 24-hour scale. Dark tailoring and brown leather accessories both suit the palette.

Function within the pattern

A GMT needs its second-time-zone cues to stay visible even when the dial is decorative. Here the separate GMT hand, hour markers and date retain their positions against the tiger-eye grain, while the bi-colour bezel marks the day and night reading. The dial's shifting bands bring interest to close viewing, but the overall layout remains recognisable as a travel watch. A buyer choosing this reference is choosing that combination of function and warm dial texture, not simply a rose-gold-tone case.

Two very different patterned GMTs

The GMT-Master II 126719BLRO meteorite-style dial takes the opposite approach: a pale patterned face inside a blue-red bezel and white-metal Oyster. It feels cooler and brighter at first glance. The CHNR ties its dial grain to the brown bezel and warm bracelet, making it the more cohesive choice for someone whose collection already leans toward warm metals.

Before dispatch, our QC team reviews tiger-eye dial pattern, black-brown bezel transition, GMT-hand and date operation, and bracelet finish at the clasp.
