A quieter 15400 with depth in the dial
The grey-dial Royal Oak 15400 takes the same 41.0mm steel architecture and gives it a more restrained center. The Grande Tapisserie field reads dark from a distance, then reveals its square texture and tonal variation as the watch moves in the light. Around it, the octagonal steel bezel and integrated bracelet provide the crisp, familiar structure that keeps the configuration purposeful rather than plain.
Grey is the key selection point here because it allows the steel case to do more visual work. A stronger blue or white dial leads the first impression; this darker face shifts attention toward the bezel's planes, the bracelet's alternating surfaces, and the compact order of the markers and date display.
