The polished rose-tone case gives the dark multi-layer dial a clear perimeter. From straight ahead the black field holds the composition together; as the wrist turns, the layered starry treatment supplies depth. Dark leather keeps the effect concentrated at the face.
This edition needs to be chosen for what it actually displays. The layered starry face gives depth as light moves across it, and the polished rose-tone case frames that effect; its two-hand automatic does not reproduce an astronomical complication module. That difference is material for a buyer comparing it with function-led watches. Dark leather also matters because it lets the broad dial carry the presentation instead of extending a bright metal band around the wrist. As a display piece, it makes more sense next to a simple dress watch than as a replacement for a working moon-phase complication.
Before dispatch, our QC team reviews layered-dial alignment, starry-surface clarity, hand clearance and leather-clasp operation.
