The two-colour Cerachrom bezel gives the GMT-Master II its immediate identity. Black frames the night hours and blue carries the day half, so the 24-hour scale stays useful as well as decorative. The gloss black dial leaves the applied markers and blue GMT hand easy to separate.
The Jubilee bracelet changes the watch's attitude. Its five-link rhythm catches more light than an Oyster bracelet and makes the GMT feel at home with a jacket, while the sports case and rotating bezel retain the practical travel character.
The GMT hand is the small piece of colour that ties the dial to the blue half of the bezel. Against the glossy black surface, it stays distinct from the main time hands, which is useful when the 24-hour indication matters during travel. The date magnifier sits within that already information-rich front, so clean alignment is especially important.
Jubilee changes the same reference into a different wearing proposition. The five-link surface has more shimmer and flexibility in appearance than the Oyster alternative, making it comfortable visually with a shirt cuff or jacket. The black-and-blue bezel still supplies the sports-watch identity; the bracelet makes the transition from airport to dinner easier.
