Light at the hour markers
An opaline face is a quiet setting for bright-set indices. Each marker catches light as a separate point, giving this Patrimony visual texture without asking the eye to track another hand or calendar scale. The result is dressier than a plain-marker white dial but still legible and controlled. That is why the marker treatment, rather than a broad claim about the entire watch, deserves attention.
The CZ-set accents sit against an opaline dial inside a rose-gold-plated steel case. A smooth polished bezel surrounds them, and the alligator-embossed calfskin strap closes with a tang buckle. At 8.5mm thick and 40mm across, the case retains a dress-watch profile even though the hour markers bring more light to the face.
It will work particularly well with evening clothes where a completely plain dial can feel too spare. Yet the accents are small enough that the watch does not become a full stone-set case piece. The comparison with the 9248 is therefore straightforward: similar warm formal intent, but this dial has a deliberate sparkle at every hour.
